Painting Vinyl

Painting vinyl siding has become a very common solution.  This can be a very problematic situation down the road.  We know there is paint that claims to be vinyl safe.  This makes painting look real attractive.  The challenge is the vinyl  has to be engineered to accept paint.  When the paint is applied to vinyl siding it causes a huge problem as it is PVC style vinyl and is encapsulated.   Painting this siding will cause it  to twist and warp within months of applying.   Total failure on the hot sides of the house will happen within a year or so.  Any questions you may have on proper care or changes to your existing siding please don’t hesitate to call us.
