Old Deck
Old redwood deck with years of solid stain on the deck. The homeowner salvaged a lot of this redwood to repurpose into furniture
Old Deck
Framing and lattice on the old deck. The old deck was framed with 4×4 posts and had a hot tub on part of it. This was way inadequate for the weight and stability of the deck

Adding on stairs to the concrete area. This is down a rock face and needs to be properly attached the the hillside
Concrete
A stamped concrete path down the back of the garage is being poured, getting ready to color and stamp it.
Decking
We plan for the decking to have no seams in the middle of the field on the deck. This will make it more appealing and last longer. This takes time to plan the additional framing for this look

Mimosa deck, we also planned for the gutter downspouts to run under the deck so it will drain properly
Details
A second deck off the middle of the home. We removed the old 2×6 decking and redecked and added a new railing. The framing of the deck was in very good shape
Back Deck Railing rebuild
This was supposed to be a sand and restain only. After we started into the deck it became much more. Cheaper then building a new deck, but alot of time to build the details was needed. No cutting corners here. Went from 1 week to 3 weeks to complet
Back Deck Privacy area
Rebuild of the railing and pergola. We took the necessary time to make sure all the details were installed correctly. This is not a budget refresh, but it will last longer then any quick sand and stain most companies offer.
Back Deck Decking
Properly removing the old screws and nails in the weathered and cracked decking boards. We did not just yank out the old, this would have made installing the new boards not as firm and not last as long. Time taken again for the details to make it right.
Back Deck Decking
Properly spacing the new boards on the deck surface. Predrilling the holes to make sure the ends of the board did not crack with the new screws. this takes more time then just rushing. The structure of the deck will have it last way longer.
Back Deck Decking
Meticulously removing the damaged decking boards so the new boards had a good structure to hold them down when installed.
Back Deck Restain
Taking the time and effort to scrape and sand all the old stain off the deck. This makes the new stain look and last much longer
Back Deck Restain
After 2.5 weeks of TLC on the new railing, pergola and the new decking board. This is the new stain. Sherwin Williams Superdeck, made for walking on. 2 full coats applied to the correct surface.
